HP-60/80 Repair Kit with Filter

It has been a couple weeks now since I ordered this rebuild kit.I ordered this kit with over 3 years on the diaphragms knowing it was a matter of days not years before I would need to replace. Turns out the week they arrived, both my diaphragms failed, and I put this rebuild kit to work.Honestly, I believe, one diaphragm was likely already broken for the past several months, and the second failed to the point of just barely triggering the septic alarm.Install was straight forward, and the linear pump runs noticably quieter. The quality is OEM, and this rebuild kit will repair older generation pumps as well as new ones. My setup uses the digital switch and doesn't need the included screw.Hiblow provides an end-user service video in how to do this rebuild. It is very straightforward, just be sure to allow the pump to cool before handling, as components can be VERY HOT!

I usually just buy the diaphragms but this was only a few cents more than 2 diaphragms from the same store. So, decided couldn't hurt to have extra casings as well on hand. I have rebuilt my aerator many times, about every 4 years. The last diaphragms from the same store did not have the hiblow engraving on them even though it said they were oem. However, they have lasted 4 years and I have no complaints. I didn't expect this kit to actually have the brand on them either but they do. I expect they should last another 4 years before I need to replace. I am in NE Texas so we get some hot summers and this unit has been through some rough times. I have had this pump since we moved into the house which was in 2000 so it is 24 years old. I have only had to replace the diaphragm casings 1x so far and the magnet 1x. This is the 4th or 5th time for the diaphragms themselves. I upgraded the safety switch from the plastic screw to the resettable slide (easy wire in) as the screw broke too many times and created more annoyance than anything. The reset slide is easy to just push back in place when needed. This kit still includes the safety screw which is great for those who still use that version. And, of course, the air filter which is good to have on hand. I bought a set of aftermarkets that work just as well and I wash them periodically and then replace about 1x a year. As I said, I decide don this kit specifically because it included more items for just a few cents more than the other option of just 2 diaphragms so really a no brainer to get the casings and the filter. Great deal in my opinion. Once I find something that is reliable, I will keep buying it even if it costs a bit more. Having the pump down is a hassle, so I prefer to spend more up front to get something that will last around 4 years till replacement than spend ¼ or ½ of the cost and have to do it every year or 2. I haven't bought this particular full kit before but have bought from the same company and not had any problems so I expect not to have issues with this purchase. Kit doesn't come with instructions but the installation is easy enough and if you have done it before, you can get it done in no time. Beginners can look online at videos as there are several well detailed ones available as to how install. While you have it apart, take the opportunity to get everything cleaned up and blown off/wiped down to refresh the system and it will last a good long time.

The repair kit worked very well for my unit and was easy to install. The unit is nicely built and fixes our problem with the H2S corrosion problem in our septic tank. Thanks for the good work you do.

Everything needed to repair/replace the diaphragms. Easy install and fixed the problem. I did not need the safety screw on my pump, it had a plastic "click" piece that needed to be slid over for the pump to start and run. Updated instructions would have helped a little, but no problem for me.

I’ve given you a 5/5 but we will see how long this kit last to be able to give you further feedback.

Perfect rebuild kit for worn out/torn HIBLOW diaphragm aerator pump. Was quoted close to $300 for pump to be repaired with a similar kit by a local septic service. Decided to purchase this rebuild kit at just a fraction of that price. Has now been running for over a year without any issues.Very easy to install and I was able to get back up and running in about 30 minutes. If you’re willing to put in a little work, then this kit is a great deal!

Direct replacement. Still going strong.Don't pay a plumber, watch a video and put these in. Hiblow makes good stuff.

Worked great. Had an alarm on my septic system and the last riser wasn't full. Checked the airerator to see if could feel any air coming out and I couldn't. I ordered the part this morning and it arrived around 6pm just in time to get it installed after about 30 minutes of work. Good as new.
